1But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for asound doctrine. 2 bOlder men are to be ctemperate, dignified, sensible, dsound ein faith, in love, in
Or steadfastness
perseverance.

3Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, gnot malicious gossips nor henslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4so that they may
Or train
encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
5to be sensible, pure, jworkers at home, kind, being ksubject to their own husbands, lso that the word of God will not be dishonored.

6Likewise urge mthe young men to be
Or sensible in all things; show
sensible;
7in all things show yourself to be oan example of good deeds, with
Or soundness; lit uncorruptness
purity in doctrine, dignified,
8sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so qthat the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

9 Urge rbondslaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not
Lit contradicting
argumentative,
10not pilfering, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of tGod our Savior in every respect.

11For the grace of God has uappeared,

,
adour great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,
14who aegave Himself for us afto redeem us from every lawless deed, and to agpurify for Himself a ahpeople for His own possession, aizealous for good deeds.
